In this session we discuss securing IBM i assets and securing actions against these assets from threat actors, using both IBM provided tools as well as the types of support provided by ISVs. We discuss how industry standard security principles can be applied to IBM i. These principles include Zero Trust, Deny By Default, Least privilege, and Open Design.
Topics include database field level encryption, Row and Column Access Control, Multi-factor authentication, Authorization, Authority Lists, and group profiles. We discuss how you can assure that you have secured your assets with industry standard approaches such as static and dynamic application security testing, penetration testing and threat modelling.
