Back in 2019 IBM introduced Power Enterprise Pools (PEP) 2.0, offering customers the flexibility to tailor system configurations with a mix of purchased and pay-for-use consumption of processors and software. This offer dynamic, flexible consumption or cloud-like economics with on-prem servers.
IBM Power Virtual Server offers fast, self-service provisioning of infrastructure and physical computing resources without the need to manage or operate them, and pay-as-you-use billing.
