As security is getting more and more important and IBM i systems need to be integrated in a corporate wide security solution just as any other platform, we would like to show what needs to be considered to achieve that goal and which challenges will probably come up on the way to protect the basic infrastructure against cyber attacks. Within the presentation we will cover topics like MFA for the basic infrastructure as well as IBM i, QRADAR as SIEM solution to monitor relevant events, as well as the IBM Storage Solution “Safe Guarded Copy” to speed up the recovery process in worst case scenarios.
In relation to security, it is also relevant for companies to cover the topic of privileged access management (PAM) in a secure and auditable manner. To address this topic, we will also present how to have a corporate wide PAM solution including IBM i.
