Thanks to the development of deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI), recommender systems can use the large amount of data that is generated by users' everyday selections and make high-quality recommendations. If your company has user purchase history and ratings data, and you hope to use that data to recommend new products to users so that the user is more likely to buy the products you recommend, then this workshop can help you to build and deploy a working system on your IBM i. The workshop will guide you step-by-step  to build a movie recommender system with a simple virtual assistant chatbot user interface: train, deploy, and integrate a model using python on IBM i, your IBM i Db2 database, IBM Watson Assistant, and Node-RED.
