The IBM AIX portfolio covers the HA/DR spectrum from storage-based solutions to the IP based solution (GLVM) for both on premise and in cloud deployments. We’ll discuss VM Recovery Manager and PowerHA for on premise and in PowerVS, how they work and how you should position them as well as the latest enhancements for both on premise and in cloud and Hybrid scenarios. We’ll take a look at the proposed roadmaps including plans for VMRM in PowerVS and get your feedback. Time permitting, we’ll cover how to license and discuss the options available today with non-expiring and subscription options.
