Trusted Technical Advisor & Technical Sales Consultant & Architect 4 IBM Hybrid solutions (infrastructure (HW/SW), Cloud, Security, Analytics, Watson, Services etc) for customers using SAP applications, running on IBM Infrastructure (servers, storage and software) and, in a deeper specialized way, SAP on System z since 1997, currently HANAonPOWER (since 2015 on Power, since 2011 on x86).
I provide consulting, sizing and architectural Technical Sales support for various customer projects on IBM Power Systems and IBM z with main focus on SAP applications. I am working since 1988 in several technical support positions in the mainframe and storage area as system engineer and now as IT architect.
Currently I am Leading Technology Architect for SAP applications on IBM Infrastructure, especially I'm HANAonPOWER Technical Sales Lead.
I've been working for IBM since now 40 years, since 1988 I've been working in several technical support positions in the mainframe and storage area as system engineer and since 2009 as IT architect in the SAP space. I'm SME and key contact for SAP on HoP (HANAonPOWER), SAP on POWER with AIX/Linux, DB2 LUW and Oracle, SAP on mainframe (System z) with DB2 for z/OS, for SAP related cases with all kinds of cloud services (IBM Cloud or any other cloud, managed services and flexible hosting). Additionally I'm currently the official IBM Germany contact for - DSAG (german speaking SAP user group) - DSAG (german speaking SAP user group) workgroups HANA on Power and SAP on Db2 for z/OS - GSE/Common HANA on Power user group - HANAonPower.com user group -
